I've always loved property, and not just houses, but homes: I am fascinated by their potential and the way the right changes can completely transform how a place looks and feels.

Over the past twelve years I've turned that love into hands-on experience. I renovated the bungalow that was my family home, then a London flat, which sold for significantly more than we paid. After that came a bungalow needing a major refurbishment and garage conversion, which I staged and sold at a profit. Along the way I've also worked as a renovation consultant and designer, helping clients plan and transform their own homes. Before property, I ran my own businesses and worked as a project manager, experience that taught me how to organise, communicate and, above all, look after people.

Now I've brought all of that experience together in the job I've been working towards: helping people sell their homes. Estate agency is my full-time focus, and I've set up independently with The Property Experts because I believe sellers deserve a more thoughtful, personal service than they often get. The Property Experts gives me the systems, marketing support and reach of a national group, while I give every client my own time and attention.

Having sold my own homes, I know how much rides on getting the valuation, marketing and negotiation right, and that a home is never just a financial asset. It's where you've lived your life, and selling it deserves real care.

Then I build the marketing around your home: how to present it, what to highlight, who it will appeal to and how to reach them. With my renovation and staging background, I can also advise on preparing your home so it makes the best possible first impression.

I deliberately work with a small number of sellers at a time, so I can stay personally involved from start to finish. From the first appraisal through to viewings, negotiation and completion, you'll deal directly with me.

I live in Central Wiltshire as well as working here. I know the villages, the schools, the countryside and the local businesses, which often matter to buyers just as much as the house itself.

Why I Love Being an Estate Agent in Devizes, Marlborough, Pewsey Vale, surrounding villages

I can't imagine living anywhere else. Central Wiltshire has everything I love: open countryside, quiet footpaths across the hills and, of course, the white horses carved into the hillsides, a sight that's uniquely Wiltshire.

Then there are the villages, with their thatched cottages and village shops, where neighbours know each other by name and someone always turns up with a helping hand. It's the kind of place where the veg at the market was grown on the farm across the road, and where tractors and wellies are just part of everyday life. Given the choice, I'd pick the countryside over the city any day.

That's a big part of why I love being an estate agent here. When I show buyers around a home, I'm not only showing them the rooms. I'm showing them the walk up the hill on a Sunday morning, the chat at the village shop and the view from the kitchen window. I can talk about this area with genuine warmth, because it's exactly why I chose to live here myself.
